After reaching out to the state’s public and private schools for more than twenty years, Save The Bay has created programs geared exclusively toward homeschoolers (ages 6-14) in southeastern New England. Fun-filled and educational two-hour classes meet monthly from September to May. Curriculum involves hands-on exploration of Narragansett Bay, local watersheds, their creatures and habitats while encouraging environmental stewardship. Younger kids explore invertebrates, geology, seawater, salt marshes and salt ponds, while older students immerse themselves in oceanography including hydrodynamics and marine geology. View series details below.
